We want to say a HUGE thank you to Memorial Hospital for sponsoring out 2nd annual 5K Chicken Run.  Check out Memorial Hospital’s Cardiac Unit for a place to cool down after the run.

Dewey from Belleville running club has designed a really nice course starting near the water tower at the mall and finishing at the main entrance to 2011 WingFest.  We expect a really good turn out this year.  Register by August 20 to get your adult performance shirt.

The Michelob Ultra Race Team will be there at the race and will be providing cold refreshing Michelob Ultra immediately following the run.

Registration is at 6 am and the race starts promptly at 7.  Registration is $20.00 before Aug 31 or $25 after Aug 31.  The kid’s run is a half mile and is $10.00. We have 5 year age groups and will award trophies to the top three in each group.

Prizes this year will be:
1st Female - One night stay at the Hampton Inn Columbia Il.
1st Male - One night stay at the Hampton Inn Columbia Il.

Masters Male and Female
5 year age groups and trophies to the top 3 in each age group.
1/2 mile kids run all participants will receive a medal
$100 to the best dressed chicken to cross the finish line
Team Trophy to the team with the most participants
