The Midwest Wingfest Eating Championship will be held on Saturday, September 11th at 2:00pm on the Main Stage.
Midwest WingFest Eating Championship Prizes:
1st Place- $100
2nd Place- $50
3rd Place- $25
Registration & Fees: Register early by filling out the registration form. Registration will also be accepted the day of the contest but there are limited number of spaces, so be sure to register early. The registration fee is $15, and participants will receive an official 2010 Wing Eating Contest t-shirt. (Available adult sizes are S, M, L, XL, & XXL) Secure your spot early so you don’t miss out on the First Annual Eating Championship!
Contestants will be able to sign up throughout the duration of Midwest WingFest at the information tent until the contest begins. Registration will begin at 1pm, and the contest will begin at 1:30pm. After day off registering, contestants will receive their t-shirt.

Welcome to the First Annual Miss Wing Thing Pageant!
The pageant will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2010 in Fairview Heights at the Fairview Heights Plaza off Ludwig Drive. The event will take place on the main stage at 5:30pm.
Each contestant will be responsible for obtaining a sponsor for herself. If you can not find a sponsor, the Midwest Wingfest committee will assist you to the best of their ability. The sponsorship fee is $200 and will need to be turned in by August 10, 2010 at the first practice. Your sponsor can be a business, family, or friends. The paperwork should be turned into the Fairview Heights Chamber Office no later than August 10th. Sponsor checks should be made out to the Fairview Heights Chamber of Commerce. We will allow no more than 15 contestants so it is very important to get your application into the chamber as soon as possible.
Included in this document are papers that you will need to complete:
- MC information for you. The information sheet will be used in writing the information the MC will read while you are on stage. The judges will not see this page.
- Agreement. Please read over this document and sign where shown. This signed document lets me know that you and your parent/guardian (if under 18 years of age) have read the requirements and rules of participating. You should just turn in the signature page and keep the remainder for your reference.
- Application. This is the document that the judges will see and use for your interview. It is very important that you proofread this document carefully before submitting it. The judges will see the document as is (I recommend typing it). The judges will be crowing the Miss Midwest Wingfest.
All pages need to be completed and returned to the chamber office no later than August 10, 2010. |

Join all the Fun and Excitement at the Midwest WingFest Chicken Run/Walk
Saturday, September 11, 2010 – 9am at Moody Park in Fairview Heights
Registration the day of event begins at 8am.
Participants of all ages, including children, may walk or run the 5K course.
There will be prizes for:
- Fastest Time (male and female)
- Fastest Time (Children- under the age of 16)
- Most Creative Costumes (children and adults)
Registration & Fees: Register early by filling out the registration form. Registration will also be accepted the day of the race, but the fee increases by $5 for day off registrants. Participants will receive an official 2009 5K Chicken Run t-shirt. (Available adult sizes are S, M, L, XL, & XXL and available children sizes are S, M, and L) Secure your spot early so you don’t miss out on the First Annual Chicken Run!
Adults: $15 each Children: $10 each
Race Day Registration will begin at 800am, and the race will begin at 9am. After registering, racers will receive their t-shirt and a race piney with their race number.
