Midwest WingFest exists not just to put on one of the largest food and music festivals in the Midwest, our entire purpose is to raise money for combat wounded soldiers (Purple Heart Recipients) and the families of heroes lost in service (Gold Star Families). Everything we do is to give back to those who have given so much to us.
Over the years we have raised money for USO of Missouri, Disabled American Vets, Fisher House, Climb For PTSD, Veterans Community Project, and Team Fastrax Warrior Weekend to remember. This year we will once again be supporting Warrior Weekend to remember them as they have become like family. We are an all-volunteer organization. Each year close to 200 volunteers come together to have a great time supporting a great cause. We will continue to grow every year and reach more and more people so we can make a difference.

Honor our nation’s veterans, Purple Heart Warriors and the families of fallen heroes by providing enriching, life changing experiences that facilitate new friendships and emotional healing.
Honoring Our Veterans The Mission of Greater St. Louis Honor Flight is to recognize our veterans – most urgently our World War II veterans – with a day of honor, remembrance and celebration. We do this with a one-day, all-expenses paid trip to Washington, DC to visit the World War II Memorial, built to honor their service and sacrifice.
