FAQ'S

Where and when is the event located? Midwest WingFest will be at St. Clair Square Mall, in the east parking lot behind Dillard’s.  The event is Labor Day Weekend, Friday from 5p-12am and Saturday from 12pm-12am.

How do I become a sponsor?  Great question.  I’m so glad you asked!  Email [email protected], let me know roughly what your budget is, and we can put together a sponsor packet for you.  We have tens of thousands of Beer drinking, Wing eating, Military loving patrons that would love to see your support at our event.

Are there any food vendor spaces available?  We sell out pretty fast every year so please email Doug at [email protected] to see if there is any space left.

Can I have a tent or booth at the event even if I do not sell food?  Well, we aren’t a swap meet or trade show, we are a WingFest lol.  That said, we do allow a small number of non-wing vendors each year.  Email Doug at [email protected] to discuss this and request availability.

Does it cost anything to get in?  Yes, there is a $5.00 cover charge for anyone over the age of 12.  Due to the cost to produce the event, the unpredictability of the weather and the fact that our purpose is to raise money for combat wounded veterans and the families of fallen soldiers as well as drastically increased costs due to covid, we had to move to a model that would make sure we are here for years to come.

Will you have ATM or credit card access at the event? Yes, ATM machines will be available during the festival and some (not all) vendors take credit.  We can also take credit cards for the entry fee as well.

If I would like to volunteer, how do I get involved? First, THANK YOU!!  We could not do what we do without amazing people like you!  To volunteer, click on the Volunteer tab and submit your information.  We will contact you as soon as possible.  We are looking for volunteers at the event to assist with our steering committee throughout the year.

Where can I find a schedule of events? Like always you can expect an entertainment-packed WingFest.  Check back for the lineup or check us out on Facebook for more frequent updates.

Will the event be canceled if it rains? Midwest WingFest is rain or shine; however, your safety is of utmost importance to us.  Event organizers of the event will postpone or cancel the event at the discretion and or counsel of the police and fire department.

No refunds will be given in the event of cancellation.  Party at your own risk.

Is this a family-friendly event?  Yes, there will be family-friendly entertainment all weekend long including a massive children's area full of bouncy fun.

Do I have to wear a mask at WingFest?  The safety of our patrons is always a priority.  WingFest will follow any local requirements at the time of the event.  Currently, there are no distancing or mask requirements in place but please take whatever precautions you deem necessary.  Chicken Masks are always welcome!

Anything else I should know?  Yes, as stated above Midwest WingFest is a family-friendly event.  No weapons, no inappropriate behavior, no outside food or alcohol, and no pets other than service animals. We are a 501(c)(3) organization with a mission to raise money and promote the healing of combat wounded veterans and the families of fallen soldiers.
