Midwest WingFest Has A New Date & Location

FAIRVIEW HEIGHTS, Ill. – Midwest WingFest Inc. announces a new date and location for 2011 at St Clair Square on Saturday September 3rd.

Midwest WingFest 2011 is a regional chicken wing cook-off competition where vendors will compete for top honors in both hot wing and gourmet categories. Location for the event is in the east parking lot behind Dillard's at St Clair Square. More details will be made available as the date draws nearer.

“We were blown away by the success of the event in 2010 with over 17,000 people and over 96,000 wings sold" said one of the event Chairman, Doug Shoemaker. “We anticipate doubling the entertainment and having up to 40 vendors providing a wide range of sauced wings, as well as other food items. Although this is one of the biggest Wing Festivals in the Nation, you will be absolutely amazed at all of the other unique food items available. If you can think of it you will probably find it at WingFest. Midwest WingFest 2011 dares to be everything just shy of a full blown food festival fun for the whole family. You won't want to miss it”
