The Fairview Heights Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce it is hosting Midwest WingFest 2010 in Fairview Heights, IL. Midwest WingFest 2010 is a regional chicken wing cook-off competition where 40 area vendors compete for top honors in both hot wing and gourmet categories.

A variety of entertainment and activities is planned in conjunction with Midwest WingFest 2010. A 5K Chicken Run will start the activities. Cooking demonstrations, beauty pageant, eating contests and live music will be a few of the activities to entertain those attending Midwest WingFest 2010.

Honors will go to the "Best Hot Wing" and "Best Gourmet Wing." Top honors will be awarded to the "Midwest WingFest 2010 Best Wing." Cash prizes and trophies will be awarded. A "People's Choice" award will also be selected through attendee ballots.

Restaurant and community organizations wishing to participate in this event should contact the Fairview Heights Chamber of Commerce for more information. Space is limited. Only vendors wishing to sell chicken wings are asked to participate.
